Ilmailu officer society’s Arne Somersalo arms collection is exposed in the back of the museum. The best parts of this for Finland unusually extensive arms collections is now for the first time officially on display. The alternating expo produced by Ilmailu officers society is on display until the summer of 2019.
The Honorary Chairman of SAHS Heikki Pohjolainen, is still one of Europes most active and well-known arms collector.
SAHS’s honorary chairman Heikki Pohjolainen and Lars-Yngve Ekström from the Swedish sister organisation Svenska Vapenstiftelsen, signed FESAC:s (European Arms Collectors Organisations Society) constitution, exactly 25 years ago together with representatives from six other countries, at Hotel de l’Empereur in Maastricht.
These two gentlemen are stil among the most well-known European arms collectors.

The Arms collecting society from Turku, Arma Aboa ry, presents historic arms and increases knowledge about them in an expo on the 7th of April, 2019.
The organizer, Arma Aboa ry, is the oldest local arms-historic society in Finland.

International arms and militia sales event in Tamper house 17.2.2019.

Tampere Historic Arms Society Tamarms ry arranges a sales and buying event for arms collectors and militia enthusiasts. The place is, as in previous years, the showroom in Tampere house on Sunday, 17th of February, 2019. The exhibition is open for the public between 10.00 and 16.00 and entry is 14 euro (cash only).
Please join in on this biggest arms and militia enthusiasts get together in our country!
All services can be found in the Tampere house including a restaurant. In the proximities of the house is several hotels and restaurants, as well as plenty of parking space and a parking garage.
Traditionally also a branch specific special expo with earlier unprecedented material.
